Hau Giang leader working VESAF/NFP (USA)

Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province had working with the VESAF,NFP (USA) to solve difficulties during project implementation in Hau Giang province.
In 2018, VESAF, NFP (USA) supported many projects such as bridges, roads, clean water pipes, and the construction of charity houses in Hau Giang Province which brought practical effects to life for the people.
Currently, VESAF and NFP (USA) are having difficulty implementing 21 projects due to legal procedural problems related to Decree No. 80/2020/ND-CP dated July 8th, 2020 on management and use of non-refundable aid not belonging to official development assistance provided by foreign agencies, organizations and individuals for Vietnam. At the meeting, Ms. Jenny Kim-Oanh Tieu - VESAF, NFP (USA) hoped Hau Giang province would soon have a document accepting the project of 4 rural traffic routes in Phung Hiep district to implement it on schedule in 2024.
Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee directed investors to disburse counterpart capital to construction units of inaugurated projects. At the same time, the units and localities have submitted documents to the Provincial People's Committee to receive projects in 2025.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province wished that VESAF, NFP (USA) continue to accompany and support projects in Hau Giang province.  At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant localities and units to carry out receiving procedures by the law and to soon deploy sponsored projects in the area.
