The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF)/UK coordinated with the Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations and the People’s Committee of Long Mỹ District to help a groundbreaking ceremony of Kenh Ngan Man bridge in Luong Tam Commune, Long My District, Hau Giang Province. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan - Chairman of the Hau Giang province Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr - Thomas Noble, Director of CNCF Asia, and representatives of the local authorities.
Kenh Ngan Man Bridge has a length of 21m, a width of 3m, and a load of 2.5 tons. Its total construction cost is VND 491 million. It is being built under the “Turnkey” program. This is the fourth bridge sponsored by the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation in Hau Giang province.
The completed project helps connect traffic between the hamlets in Luong Tam commune, Long Mỹ Town creating favorable conditions for people to travel in the area contributing to promoting local economic development.
