The Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City organized the 75th Anniversary of China's National Day (October 1st, 1949 - October 1st, 2024). The Hau Giang province delegation attending was Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan - Chairman of the Hau Giang province Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hau Giang province.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguy Hoa Tuong - Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City shared the great achievements China has made over the past 75 years. He affirmed that the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City persistently implements the common perceptions of the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, persistently implements the diplomatic concept of playing a good role as a bridge connecting the friendship between China and Vietnam, always perseveres and is more determined with the motto "all for the people" to unite, strive, work practically, contributing to consolidating and developing the good relationship between China and Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Chinese Business Association in Vietnam donated VND 3,8 billion to support people in the Northern provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).

In addition, The Hau Giang Province Union of Friendly Organizations attended the 75th Anniversary of China's National Day in Can Tho City.

The Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and businesses of the Chinese Business Association donated the construction funds for phase 3 of the Vietnamese-Chinese High School, with a budget of over VND 3.5 billion,  to support people affected by storm No. 3, and granted 30 scholarships to students of Vietnamese-Chinese High School.
