The Asia Foundation’s Scholarship program in Hau Giang province

In the morning of March,31st 2018, Mr Le Van Thao, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations attended the awarding scholarship ceremony for female students at high schools (11-12 grade) in Hau Giang by the Asia Foundation in cooperation with Hau Giang Association for Promoting Education at Bong Sen hotel.

Sixty scholarships, two millions VND each, were awarded to 60 good poor students in the 2017-2018 school year. This is one of many scholarships awarded by the Asia Foundation in the province from 2008.

Beside the scholarship granting activities, the students are informed about trends, market demands and career after high school graduation.
