Nam Phương Foundation has just coordinated with the Hau Giang province Union of Friendship Organizations and Chau Thanh A People's Committee to inaugurate of Khang Duc Bridge in Cai Tac town, Chau Thanh A district. Attending were Mr.Nguyen Van Nhan – Chairman of the Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, and Ms. Dinh Thi Nam Phuong – Nam Phuong Foundation with representatives of local leaders.
After three months of construction, the bridge was put into use to create favorable conditions for people and students to travel conveniently, and transport agricultural products easily, contributing to promoting the local economy and society.
Khang Duc bridge has a length of 30m, a width of 3m with a reinforced concrete structure design with a load of 2.5 tons. The total construction cost is VND 01 billion. Of which, Nam Phuong Foundation sponsored over 900 million VND, the remaining is matched by the provincial budget.
On this occasion, the Nam Phuong Foundation coordinated with sponsors to grant 20 gifts to students in Cai Tac town, Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province.
