THE SUCCESSFUL CONGRESS OF FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATIONS: VIETNAM – CUBA, VIETNAM – LAOS, VIETNAM - JAPAN IN HAU GIANG

The Vietnam - Cuba, Vietnam - Laos and Vietnam - Japan Friendship Associations in Hau Giang province have just successfully organized the Second Congress, term 2022 - 2027. Attending and directing were Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Standing Vice Chairman, Mr. Pham Van Ngay - Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations.
With the theme "Solidarity, friendship, cooperation and development", the Congress reviewed and evaluated the implementation of the Resolution of the First Congress, term 2017-2022; set out directions and tasks for the second term 2022-2027; reviewed the activities of the First Association Executive Committee; and elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and titles of the Association for the second term 2022-2027.

During the last term, in the context of difficulties, especially the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, which had a direct impact on the implementation of the goals, tasks and resolutions of the Associations. But the associations have actively organized many people-to-people diplomacy activities in order to actively promote activities of peace, solidarity, friendship and cooperation. In addition, many movements had practical significance, especially social security work, contributing to the  socio-economic development of the province. The work of building developing members is often concerned with for ensuring effective operation.
Mr. Truong Minh Hoang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union was elected Chairman of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association; Mr. Vo Thanh Chinh - Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs was elected Chairman of Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Can was re-elected Chairman of Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in Hau Giang province, term 2022-2027.
