VUFO, Argentine Embassy Discuss Vietnam - Argentina Cooperation Potential

On November 15, in Hanoi, Phan Anh Son, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) hosted a reception and working session with Marcos A. Bednarski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to Vietnam, where they discussed potential areas of cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina.

At the reception, Ambassador Marcos A. Bednarski expressed his impression of Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements. The Ambassador said many Argentine businesses show interest in the Vietnamese market. They look to explore investment and cooperation opportunities with Vietnam. In addition, Vietnamese people's love for Argentine tango and football lays a favorable condition to continue to enhance cultural and sports exchanges and boost the connection between the people of the two countries.

VUFO President Phan Anh Son welcomed Ambassador Marcos A. Bednarski to start his term in Vietnam, and introduced to the Ambassador the history, functions, tasks, and organizational structure of VUFO.

Phan Anh Son said: Vietnam and Argentina have many similarities. The two peoples have good feelings for each other. This is an important foundation for the two countries to continue promoting cooperation in the future. VUFO wishes to cooperate with the Argentine Embassy to deepen the friendship between the two countries on the people's channel, through diverse and practical activities such as: businesses, artists, scholars, and young people connection; cultural and artistic exchange activities, and information sharing.
