Hau Giang Red Cross Society has just coordinated VietNam Scholarship Foundation (VNSF)  organization awards VNSF Scholarship semester I, school year 2024 - 2025. Attending  was Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang - Head of the Office of Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations and Ms Do Thi Dao – Director of VNSF Scholarship Program in Vietnam.
At the ceremony, Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation granted 65 scholarships to elementary, secondary school, high school, college and university students with difficult circumstances in the following districts: Chau Thanh A, Vi Thuy, Long Mỹ district and Vi City Thanh.
The highest scholarship is up to 22 million/school year for students studying in Ho Chi Minh City. If students study at other universities in the Mekong Delta region, the scholarship will be 15,2 million VND/school year, primary school students will receive 1 million VND/school year, secondary school students will receive 1,250 million VND/school year, high school students will receive 1,5 million VND/school year, college students will receive 6 million VND/school year. This amount will be divided into two payments in semester I and semester II each school year.
The total cost is VND 140,400,000 million sponsored by Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation. At the same time, Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation donated more books to students to supplement their knowledge on their educational path.
This is a meaningful activity that helps students have more motivation to strive for academic excellence and become valuable members of society.
