Saigonchildren/UK wishes to continue collaborating with Hau Giang province

The Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations held a working with Saigonchildren/UK on the Scholarship Program in Phung Hiep district for the period 2023-2028. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan - Chairman of the Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, representatives of the Phung Hiep district leadership, and relevant departments.
Based on the achieved results, Saigonchildren wishes to continue implementing the Scholarship Program with a total estimated budget of 171,600 USD (equivalent to 4.1 billion VND). The program aims to help children and adolescents in difficult circumstances develop their potential through quality and appropriate education, meeting their needs and bringing positive changes to the students.
The program has been implemented since 2019, providing scholarships to 565 primary and secondary school students. It also provides other support such as bicycles, medical expenses, COVID-19 relief, and life skills training, with a total budget of over 1.9 billion VND.
