Hau Giang's Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association Improves Operational Quality

In difficult conditions yet with a spirit of responsibility and solidarity, the Vietnam - the Republic of Korea (RoK) Friendship Association of Hau Giang province actively implements people-to-people and foreign non-governmental diplomacy activities, as well as information work.
The Vietnam - the Republic of Korea (RoK) Friendship Association of Hau Giang province on November 22 organized its third congress in 2023-2028 period.
The consultation congress elected the Executive Committee of the provincial Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association for the next term including 7 members, led by president Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh.
At the congress, Nguyen Van Nhan, president of the Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, praised the efforts and efforts of the provincial Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association in the 2018-2023 term.
He proposed that, in the coming term, Provincial Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association proactively coordinate with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and unions to promote peace activities, solidarity, friendship, cooperation, and development. In particular, paying attention to innovating the content and form of activities in each political event to leave a deep impression and affection in the hearts of international friends; mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid, diversifying subjects and mobilization methods to suit the strengths of each organization and local needs.
The association regularly focused on perfecting the organization to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation; and innovate operating methods to improve the quality of its activities.
During the past term, the Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association of the province integrated it into the activities and events of the Provincial Women's Union to promote propaganda work on foreign affairs activities of Vietnam as well as of Vietnam. province to members and people.
The association coordinates with the Provincial Women's Union to implement programs, schemes, and projects related to cooperation with Korea to strengthen the establishment of relationships, solidarity, friendship exchange, and cooperation between the two countries.
In parallel with the coordinated activities of the Vietnam - RoK Friendship Association, to increase resources to support members and people in the area to improve knowledge, and skills and support economic development, the Association of Provincial Women has taken advantage of the opportunity to mobilize donors to invest in the locality. The total funding of each project is over VND 2.4 billion (USD 98.900). The association coordinates with the Provincial Women's Union to organize many information activities about the foreign affairs of Vietnam in general and Hau Giang province in particular, especially cooperation, peace, and friendship activities between Vietnam and the RoK. Along with that, raised awareness of members as well as people about the Party and State policies and laws, along with support for women's marriage abroad and safe labor migration with 3,125 communication programs attracting more than 45,300 attendees.
For the 2023 - 2028 term, the association sets out directions to strengthen cooperation, consolidate and develop the traditional friendship of the two countries, contributing to making the Korean people further understand the traditions and culture of Vietnamese people, domestic and foreign policies of the Party and State in general, and Hau Giang province in particular.
The association continues to coordinate with functional agencies to strengthen the connection of resources, mobilize contributions to social security work, contribute to socio-economic development, and solve social issues.
