100 solar energy equipment granted to poor households in Hau Giang province

In the afternoon of October 28^th, 2019, Hau Giang Province Union of Friendship Organizations organized to granting 100 solar energy equipment to poor households.
The solar energy equipment was sponsored by the American Business Association and the Elumsis Foundation. These devices can glow for hours at night to help people be more convenient in their daily life, always feel safe and create good conditions for students to study.
Mr. Le Van Thao - Chairman of Hau Giang province Union of Friendship Organizations said that “Hau Giang is a difficult province in the Mekong Delta region, and the poverty rate accounts for 7.28%. Although the province has instructed coverage of electricity networks to the farthest reaches of the province so that everyone can access the national electricity grid. But these efforts have not been achieved as expected due to limited provincial resources”.
The goal of bringing light to poor households who live far away from the national electricity grid, renewable electricity source with the motto "Do not leave any children in the dark", American Business Association and Elumsis Foundation committed to grants 500 solar energy equipment to poor households in Hau Giang province./.
