Saigonchildren /UK sponsors build classrooms for students in Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province

Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the People's Committee of Phung Hiep district and Saigonchildren /UK to organize the launching ceremony of the project to build classrooms and toilets at Phuong Ninh Primary and Secondary School, Phuong Hoa hamlet, Phuong Binh commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province.
The construction project includes 04 classrooms and a 1000m2 schoolyard with a total cost of over VND 3,1 billion. Of which Saigonchildren sponsored over VND 1,9 billion, the remaining is matched by the provincial budget. The project is expected to be completed in December 2024. The highlight is that the 04 classrooms are designed to be spacious, airy, and arranged with tables and chairs suitable for students.
The project put into use it will improve teaching and learning conditions, contributing to improving the quality of teaching for teachers and students.
On this occasion, Saigonchildren and sponsor Microsoft Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City donated 20 bicycles to scholarship program students at Hung Dien Secondary School, Tan Phuoc Hung Primary School, and Mua Xuan Primary School, Phung Hiep district. The total cost is VND 42 million.
