Inauguration of Truong Hiep bridge

The VESAF Charity Foundation (USA) has just coordinated with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations of the province and local authorities to inaugurate Truong Hiep Bridge, Truong Long A Commune, Chau Thanh A District. The bridge is 36m long and 3.8m wide, solidly built with reinforced concrete, ensuring of 2 and 4 wheelers, with a total cost of 360 million VND. In which, the VESAF, NFP (USA) sponsored more than 274 million VND, the rest was contributed by the locals. The completed bride solves difficulties in travel and goods trade for local people, gradually improve the infrastructure, and promote the socio-economic of the commune.
Ms. Jenny Kim –Oanh Tieu, Project Coordinator, said that VESAF, NFP (USA) especially built many bridges, houses of love, rural roads for Hau Giang province. She wants the local authorities and people to effectively use and protect this bridge for long-term use.
