Groundbreaking of 16 VESAF houses
The Hau Giang Province Union of Friendship Organizations and VESAF, NFP (USA) in collaboration with local authorities have just organized the groundbreaking ceremony of 16 VESAF houses in Hoa An commune, Phuong Phu commune, Hoa My commune ( Phung Hiep district)
Each house is 4m wide, 10m long, made from box steel; galvanized corrugated iron wall, iron roof, ceramic tile floor. The total cost of each house is over 52 million VND, of which the local government and households afford about 17 million VND, the rest comes from donors. All houses will be completed and put into use this year.
Previously, Hoa An road, 1,200m long in Hamlet 1, Hoa An commune, and Phuong An street, 1,250m long, in Phuong An A hamlet, Phuong Phu commune, Phung Hiep district were also inaugurated and put into use. The construction costs of nearly 500 million VND funded by the VESAF, NFP (USA), the local budget and contribution of the people in the area.
