Groundbreaking ceremony classroom of Tan Long 2 Primary School, Phung Hiep district
The Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations has just cooperated with the People's Committee of Phung Hiep district and the Saigonchildren, organized Groundbreaking ceremony of classroom construction project at Tan Long 2 Primary School, Phung Son A site, Tan Long commune. The event was attended by Mr. Vo Thanh Hai - General Secretary of Hau Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong – representataive of Saigonchildren and local leaders.
The construction project includes 02 classrooms and 200m2 school yard. The total construction cost is more than VND 1.6 billion VND. Of which, Saigonchildren donated VND 1 billion and the remaining is the provincial budget.
The project contributes to solving difficulties with temporary school and gradually building schools that meet national standards in the locality. The highlight is that the 2 classrooms are designed to be spacious, airy, and arranged with tables and chairs suitable for elementary school students.
